Focus Areas
Mary Patrick is a youth leader, system thinker, peer educator, and advocate for mental health and climate change. Currently working on systems thinking and a waste management project in Kibera, Mary equips youth with the skills needed to create and implement effective solutions for lasting social change.
Through SAYDS, she helps develop system leaders who can facilitate sustainable social transformation. The program, empowers young people from various parts of Kenya with the knowledge to critically examine social issues in their communities and design enduring solutions.
Patrick’s extensive experience supports youth in development and empowerment initiatives. She has also served as a youth leader and peace advocate for the Global Peace Chain and Fikisha Organization, helping schools in Kajiado form peace clubs and establish guidance and counseling services.
