Mariluz Guerra is an indigenous Kankuama woman, independent filmmaker, and founder of the nonprofit corporation Body Stories Project, in which a growing international multidisciplinary collective gathers to co-create movies for inner peace, also known as healing cinema.
Guerra obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from the University of Chile, explored the depths of Art Therapy, and earned a 200-hour certification in Yoga Education in Mumbai, India. She recently focused her studies in the art of Directing Actors from the Sundance Collab to become the best filmmaker she can, supporting emerging talent to channelize healing stories that reach many hearts around the globe.
