About Ronna:

Ronna is the Founder and Creative and Innovative Director at The Greenhouse Studio, Fiji, an award-winning, multidisciplinary creative studio specializing in branding, corporate events, print, digital, and integrated communications experiences founded in 2014. The Greenhouse Studio is passionate about making an impact in communities in Fiji and the Pacific. They provide design and communication services as well as user needs assessments and stakeholder consultations for development agencies, educational institutions, and the government. Through their work, they support individuals, companies, and organizations ny helping them articulate and communicate important information that positively affects people’s lives. Additionally, The Greenhouse Studio offers branding and marketing services to commercial companies, individuals, startups and SMEs. The Greenhouse Studio prides itself on finding innovative solutions that inspire change. Over 90 percent of their work continues to support regional programs that have a direct impact on Pacific Island communities. A few examples of their work includes: they worked with the EU-funded and Pacific Community and implemented the Building Safety and Resilience in the Pacific (BSRP) project to design a disaster-ready business toolkit for SMEs and MSMEs (Micro-Small-Medium Enterprises); produced communication collateral for a joint project of the Reserve Bank of Fiji and the Pacific Financial Inclusion Program (PFIP, a UNDP project) to promote financial literacy; and worked with the Fiji Women’s Fund and the Pacific Women Shaping Pacific Development’s websites, annual progress reports, and other communications materials. Ronna is a member of the Women Entrepreneurs Business Council (WEBC), the Youth Entrepreneurship Council (YEC) and Women in Business (WIB) Fiji. She is the VP of Membership at Graduate Women (Fiji) and is a Global Green Growth Institute’s Pacific Greenpreneurship Program Mentor. Ronna holds a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communications from De La Salle University in Manila, Philippines.

What Ronna hopes to gain from the VV GROW Fellowship:

Ronna is hoping to gain business management skills, leadership development and access to VV networks. Specifically, she seeks strategic planning training, financial and growth management assistance, as well as time management and efficiency hacks.

What Ronna can offer other fellows:

Ronna can offer branding, marketing and communications advice. She can also serve as a resource for fellows looking to gain insight and perspective into the Asia-Pacific region.
