A technology leader and social entrepreneur, Maria focuses on projects that use technology and artificial intelligence to improve people’s lives globally. She currently strives to empower the social sector with artificial intelligence through Tangible AI, an AI consulting company that helps non-profits and social businesses to develop AI solutions. Previously, she founded Engineers Without Borders Jerusalem and was a co-founder of Genesis, a non-profit that strives to decrease the prevalence of genetic diseases in the Bedouin communities in the Middle East. In her last position, she supported the digital transformation in Sanofi as a Digital Catalyst. Maria was featured in Forbes Israel 30 under 30 list, and is a Google Anita Borg Scholar. She holds a BSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering and an MSc in Computer Science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
