Manuela Gil de Tober

Manuela is the majority owner of Ingenieria Hospitalaria, the Manager of Strategic Alliances of the company and part of the executive board. Manuela’s driving force is: Make things happen to empower and enlighten myself and in this way impact, empower and enlighten others. Manuela is mother of 2 children; she loves to spend time with her family and do hiking with them. Manuela lives in Medellín – Colombia, part of her career was done in Germany, where she lived for 8 years. She decided to move to Colombia with her German husband because they wanted to have a positive impact in the society and Colombia was a perfect environment for this.

Manuela has also founded a nonprofit subsidiary of FTZ Babytragen, a German babywearing training center. Through this, she works as a Babywearing trainer, which focuses on empowering mothers and family to have a very present and conscious maternity. The center has more than 20 certified instructors across Latin America. Manuela’s areas of expertise include leading a family business and transition, business management, finance management and leadership. She has undertaken a course in Business Management for Specialist and Executives at IHKFrankfurt am Main and holds a double degree in Process Engineering from EAFIT – Colombia and Hochschule Bremerhaven – Germany.
