Manjula Kamtekar

Manjula Kamtekar currently serves as the Secretary of Sai Social Empowerment Society (SSES), where she is responsible for administrative support, project coordination, communication, training and development, community engagement, funding and resource management, as well as advocacy and awareness. She holds a Masters in Social Work from Acharya Nagarjuna University. SSES is associated with NABARD, TRIFED, Department of Handicrafts, NSDC, and Skill India. The organization’s mission is to empower and uplift the community, particularly focusing on women. SSES has made a significant impact on the lives of several women in the area, contributing to rural development and receiving recognition for its outstanding work. The organization aligns with various UN Sustainable Development Goals, including gender equality, quality education, decent work and economic growth, and reduced inequalities. Manjula’s dedication to social empowerment and community development has been recognized through numerous accolades, including the “Best NGO in the District” award from the District Collector and the “Contribution to Rural Development” award from the CGM of NABARD Telangana and Chief Secretary Finance to the State of Telangana. Her commitment to making a positive difference in society is what drives her work at SSES.
