Leticia Araujo

Focus Areas

Leticia Araujo is a young Brazilian journalist who works at the Living with Dignity Foundation as the Coordinator of Projects aimed at encouraging education, empowering girls, and social development. She is currently developing the More Girl project, which aims to provide education for young Black girls on the periphery of her hometown in Brazil, in areas such as the study of English, training for higher education, and psychological accompaniment for girls and women of color.

Araujo has a strong interest in studies and experiences in the areas of communication, youth training, development, and social impact, interreligious dialog for the promotion of peace, and combatting climate change. As a young Black, poor, peripheral, and Latin American woman, she believes strongly in the potential of young people to have an impact on new generations.
