Focus Areas
Raised on the Westside of Baltimore’s concrete jungle, Kimberly has been in the wine industry for two decades. In 2018 Philosophy Winery & Vineyard was born, fulfilling a lifelong dream of hers. As an African American woman, Kimberly represents less than 1% of the male-dominated wine industry. Her desire is to diversify the industry by allowing access to all genders & nationalities. Kimberly believes that if we want change to happen then we have to be willing to be part of the change.
In 2022, Kimberly took over the role of President of the Maryland Wineries Association and now speaks on behalf of Maryland wineries as to new and evolving alcohol laws in the State of Maryland. In addition, Kimberly was also appointed to the Advisory Commission on Maryland Alcohol Manufacturing by Governor Hogan.
“As a visionary leader, I hope to inspire generations of women to think outside of the box and realize that everything is possible.”
