PKPA Indonesia Foundation / Centre for Child Study and Protection is a leading child rights organization in Medan, North Sumatra. Under Keumala Dewi’s leadership, PKPA advances safeguarding, child protection, and women’s empowerment, ensuring that vulnerable communities have stronger voices and safer spaces.

Dewi previously served as PKPA’s Monitoring & Evaluation Division Coordinator, where she introduced participatory tools and designed culturally relevant child protection programs. She has trained more than 55 institutions on safeguarding, led cyber safety initiatives with international partners, and coordinated emergency responses in Aceh, Central Sulawesi, and West Sulawesi. Her identity as a woman leader has shaped her resilience and commitment to equity, inspiring others to thrive despite barriers.
