Jessica Michelle Lima de León

Jessica is a second-year political science student at the Rafael Landívar University in Guatemala. From a very young age, she has identified herself as an altruistic person, so she decided to involve young Guatemalans more in politics through her project Political Participation in the Youth (PPJ) that focuses on providing transparent information about the politics of their country. In 2018 and 2019, she participated in the Ella Impacta Vital Voices program in Guatemala. Due to the great leadership she fosters in her community, she was chosen to represent Guatemala in 2019 At the Herlead Vital Voices Forum in New York, in 2020 she became a member of the Global Shapers Community of the Guatemala hub and in 2021 she was elected as vice president within the hub. / Jessica is a woman who decides to change the problems of Guatemala to viable and sustainable solutions, she is very committed to her work and to the projects that she proposes, she considers that to achieve her dreams there is no age limit but only the passion that one has.
