Taach Soboon CBO revives Nandi ancestral agroecology, ethnopharmacognosy, traditional food preparation and preservation and ancient storytelling to build climate resilience and community health in Kenya. Founded and led by Jerotich Kosgey, the initiative safely empowers women herbalists and elders to restore local biodiversity and develop evidence-based herbal products. Her mission bridges traditional ecological and food knowledge with modern enterprise to create nutrient dense food systems and sustainable livelihoods.

Kosgey brings over 12 years of experience as a molecular virologist, biorisk consultant, and clinical research advisor in molecular diagnostics and outbreak response. She spearheaded laboratory operations in the West Africa Ebola outbreak and currently leads Laboratory Systems Management.
