Jaklin is the Founder of Professional Advancement Resources (PAR), a learning and development consultancy established to provide specialized solutions to human capital development and professional advancement. Since 2011, PAR has offered corporate training, coaching, and mentoring to corporate companies, government offices, professional organizations, and university students who are keen to develop themselves. PAR also provides individual coaching for personal growth and career advancement. Their training sessions are designed for accelerated learning, giving participants the best opportunity to achieve their goals. Working with staff at corporations, whether it is a one-on-one session or a group of sales employees, all of PAR’s sessions are customized to suit specific corporate learning needs to advance personal and professional development. PAR also supports underserved communities in Peninsular Malaysia and women and youth in rural Borneo through The Learning Alliance (TLA), Malaysia and Athena REACH. PAR co-founded TLA to provide high value learning opportunities for current and aspiring social entrepreneurs, enablers and beneficiary communities. TLA aims to provide a global online learning platform where social entrepreneurs from around the world can share best practices. Since, PAR’s partnership with The Athena REACH has provided programming, customized training, coaching and mentoring for rural women’s economic empowerment and rural women entrepreneurs’ development in Borneo. Jaklin holds a Bachelor of Science in Statistics from the National University of Malaysia, an Instructional Design certification from Ma Foi Academy in India, and an Image and Professional Development Consultancy Certification from the London Image Institute in the UK. In addition to founding Professional Advancement Resources, Jaklin is the co-founder of The Learning Alliance Malaysia and Sooper KOL, the President of the Malaysia chapter of the Association of Image Consultants International, a member of the Chamber of Social Enterprise Development, and the Learning and Development Director at Athena Holdings. She has expertise in image and professional development consultancy, instructional design, and employee development.
