Imani Duncan-Price is a former Government Senator, Co-Executive Director of Jamaica’s leading think tank, the Caribbean Policy Research Institute (CaPRI), and Group Strategy Officer for the JMMB Group – a leading Caribbean financial services group. With her passion for social innovation and impact, Imani recently established the ‚ÄòImani, Grace and Love’ Foundation focusing on Women’s Economic Empowerment, Changing a Generation and Affordable Dignified Housing.

Previously, Imani served as Chief of Staff in the ‚ÄòOffice of the Leader of the Opposition’ in Jamaica where she supported then Leader of the Opposition and People’s National Party President, Dr. Phillips, in policy and political strategy formulation. As an international management consultant, she focused on cluster competitiveness, gender and social intervention. Imani also led extensive research and co-authored the case study, “Arrested Development: The Political Origins and Social Foundations of Common Violence in Jamaica”, published in 2008, Brooks World Poverty Institute Working Paper No. 46.

After her year as Miss Jamaica World 1995, Imani earned a BA from Wesleyan University and Masters in International Development from Harvard Kennedy School. Named a Young Global Leader 2015 and Eisenhower Fellow 2018, Imani is married to Stephen and mother of three young children, Aidan, Marley and Selah.
