Dr. Iffat Zafar Aga is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Sehat Kahani, Pakistan’s leading digital health company, where she leads strategy, operations, partnerships, fundraising and public sector engagement. Sehat Kahani leverages telemedicine, digital health, artificial intelligence and technology-enabled primary healthcare to connect underserved communities with qualified healthcare providers through a nationwide network of e-health clinics, mobile platforms, corporate health services and insurance solutions.
Since its inception, Sehat Kahani has delivered over 5 million consultations across more than 317 cities and towns, improving healthcare access for millions while creating meaningful employment opportunities for women doctors. The organization’s work advances UN Sustainable Development Goals 3 (Good Health and Well-Being), 5 (Gender Equality), 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure) and 10 (Reduced Inequalities).
Dr. Aga has been recognized internationally for her contributions to digital health innovation and social entrepreneurship. She is a Commonwealth Scholar, A Tallberg Leaders Mentoring Leaders Fellow, a Global Good Fund Fellow, a 100x Impact Accelerator Fellow and a Microsoft Entrepreneurship for Positive Impact alumna. Her work has been featured in a Harvard Business Review and has received multiple accolades, including AIDex Award 2025, Heroine of Healthcare Award 2023, and the Study UK Alumni Award. Driven by the belief that quality healthcare should never be determined by geography, gender or income, Dr. Aga is committed to building resilient, technology-enabled health systems that improve lives at scale. She holds an MBBS from Ziauddin University and an MSc in Global eHealth from the University of Edinburgh.
