Hleziphi Siyothula-Mtshizana

Siyothula-Mtshizana is an Energy professional with 16 years of experience delivering small to utility scale infrastructure projects with a focus on Renewable Energy. She is the founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of In Pursuit Africa Group, a pan-African Energy Services company that delivers energy efficiency and Renewables projects for public and private sectors. She is also a Technical Advisor and director at KPCares NPC (PBO), a non-profit organization focused on delivering meaningful socio-economic development programs in energy sector for the empowerment of youth and small-micro-medium enterprises (SMMEs). 

Siyothula-Mtshizan is a former Senior Project Manager within Arup’s Renewables team where she oversaw a Lender’s Technical Advisory (LTA) team working on renewables projects. She has developed and delivered over 2000MW of Renewables projects (Solar, Hydro, Wind Battery Energy Storage) in South Africa, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Ghana and UK. Siyothula-Mtshizan has also held leadership roles such as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Bonang Power & Energy, Principal for Matt&Co Advisory, Arup Education Trust Trustee, and recently the COO for the SunElex Group. She is a member of the Black Energy Professionals Association (BEPA) in South Africa and the South African National Energy Association (SANEA).
