Heidi Baskfield is a distinguished organizational leader who drives social change through her expertise in law, politics, policy, and healthcare. She currently leads Speak Our Minds, an organization focused on improving youth mental health systems. With more than two decades of experience, Heidi is a passionate advocate for youth with mental and behavioral health needs. She has held various key roles, such as Vice President of Population Health and Advocacy at Children’s Hospital Colorado, and also worked as a legislative liaison to former Governor Bill Ritter. Additionally, she served as an attorney for the U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights and the Colorado Protection Agency for People with Disabilities. Heidi also founded Rebel With A Cause, a nonprofit film company producing award-winning films featured on PBS and in the U.S. Capitol, further amplifying her advocacy efforts and impact.
