Heidemarie is the co-founder of B100arquitectos, a unique architecture studio dedicated to improving urban landscapes through sustainable design and construction of commercial buildings and family homes. In addition, B100arquitectos offers advisory services in sustainable construction certification processes such as LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), Living Building Challenge, EDGE and WELL. B100arquitectos work is based on 3 pillars: economic, social and environmental. Her team is comprised of design, construction, environmental, and business professionals specializing in sustainability and in generating creative, unique and sustainable solutions to meet the requirements of each project. B100arquitecto is dedicated to the business success of their clients, the health and wellness of their employees, and reducing the negative environmental impact of their construction activities and building operations through resource and energy efficiency. Each project examines ways to reduce environmental impact, achieve economic efficiency (energy, water, waste, indoor environmental quality, construction process, design process and others) and improve the wellbeing of each user and occupant of the building/home. Heidemarie holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the Universidad Albert Einstein, a Masters in Renewable Energies & Ecological Design from the Universidad Camilo José Cela, and a Masters of Architecture in Interior Design from the Universidad de Salamanca. She also holds accreditations in sustainable construction – LEED Green Associate and LEED Accredited Professional in Building Design and Construction in GBCI (USA) and serves as Secretary of the Board of the El Salvador Green Building Council. She also enjoys sharing the experiences and knowledge in Sustainability and bioclimatic architecture.
