Faratiana Andrianasolo is the Founder of By Faratiana, Tsiorintany, and La Barren– three socially responsible brands that showcase the richness of Madagascar through food, plant-based wellness, and marine cosmetics. Her mission is to transform Madagascar’s natural resources into premium, locally made products, while developing local and sustainable value chains that create opportunities, preserve biodiversity, and promote Malagasy innovation.

Originally trained in business administration and commerce, Faratiana embarked on her entrepreneurial journey following a major health issue that inspired the creation of By Faratiana. She was among the winners of the Tony Elumelu Foundation’s Entrepreneurship Programme in 2020, where her company was subsequently recognized as one of the top 100 startups in its cohort. Today, she continues to create innovative products by combining artisanal expertise, scientific research, and Madagascar’s exceptional biodiversity.
