Harshita Chhatlani is the Founder of Daftee, an India based non-profit working with providing support to survivors of sexual and domestic violence. Daftee runs the first of it’s kind WhatsApp based chat support which works as an independent first response mechanism. It runs 24/7, free of cost, and is completely private.

Chhatlani holds ~5 years of work experience in the development and media sector. They have previously worked with notable Indian non-profits across areas like disability, gender, queer rights, education, and government schemes. Currently, they are a Master’s student at International Institute of Social Studies (Erasmus University Rotterdam) studying Economics of Development.
