About Hajer

Hajer is the owner of Hmila Law Firm, specializing in assisting local and foreign companies, NGOs and individuals to establish presence in Tunisia. Their field of expertise is corporate law, employment law, tax law and immigration law. Hmila Law Firm assists their clients in completing legal and administrative procedures with local authorities and institutions, drafting contracts, and represents their clients in court to defend their interests when needed. Her customers are primarily foreigners based in Tunisia or who intend to live in Tunisia. Hajer is a Lawyer and member of the Tunisian Bar. She holds a Masters in Business Law from the University of Law and Political Science of Tunis and is a member of the Tunisian American Young professionals and the Women Initiative fellowship program.

What Hajer hopes to gain from the VV GROW Fellowship:

Hajer is looking forward to improving her business and financial management skills. She is also looking forward to learning from fellows’ experiences and how they overcome practical daily issues of running a business in particular.
