Focus Areas
Gift is the powerhouse behind Project EmpowerHER, a rising force in financial literacy, tech access, and leadership training for African girls and young women. From high school classrooms to grassroots communities, the initiative is changing the game by mentoring women in STEM, providing financial literacy to teenage girls, and giving them the confidence to lead. Whether it’s coding, budgeting, or taking up space, Project EmpowerHER is building women who know their value and are ready to own the future.
Currently pursuing her second law degree focusing on international law and diplomacy, Gift is a young diplomat on a mission. She is passionate about trade law, gender equity, and creating systems that leave no woman behind. She has served as an IEP Peace Ambassador, a Millennium Fellow, and on the Global Admissions Committee. At UN CSW69, she moderated a high-level side event on the impacts of the AfCFTA on rural women and businesses, ranking among the top four out of 12,000 global virtual delegates. She also runs The Gen Z Diplomat blog because global policy deserves a young African voice that is bold, fresh, and fearless.
