Down to Zero Program Manager, ECPAT Indonesia
Fitri Noviana, herself a survivor of child sex trafficking, now serves as a Program Manager for Down to Zero, an ECPAT program aimed at reducing commercial sexual exploitation of children in Indonesia. Passionate about children’s issues, and especially child development and children’s rights, Ms. Noviana actively advocates against child trafficking to policy makers, law enforcement and private sector actors.
She also serves as a mentor in a government shelter, where she provides consultations for child victims of sexual abuse and commercial sexual exploitation. Ms. Noviana serves vulnerable children in rural areas by offering education on numerous topics, including reproduction health, self-protection and self-motivation. Fitri earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Bandung Islamic University.
