Faith Wambiya is the Founder and Executive Director of Uplift Her, a women-led community-based organization in Kenya that empowers women and girls through education, economic empowerment, leadership development, and climate action. Uplift Her works with underserved communities to equip women with the knowledge, skills, and opportunities to build sustainable livelihoods, strengthen their leadership, and drive lasting social and environmental change.

Wambiya is a Gender and Development professional with experience in research, community development, and gender-responsive programming. Through Uplift Her, she works with smallholder women farmers in Kilifi County in Kenya to advance climate-smart agriculture by promoting sustainable farming practices, while strengthening women’s livelihoods and economic empowerment. She is a beVisioneers: Mercedes-Benz Fellow and serves as the Nairobi Westlands Hub Ambassador, where she supports and connects emerging environmental leaders. Wambiya holds a Master’s degree in Gender and Development Studies from Kenyatta University.
