Faisa Ali is the Founder of Nuuma, a cultural movement for mothers, built on one truth: every mother carries a culture, and her care should honor it. Through research, storytelling, and advocacy, Nuuma is rebuilding the village around modern motherhood, placing cultural wisdom at the center of care, not the margins. She carries that message as host of the podcast Mom Over Matter.

Ali is also the Founder of Peapod Studio, the nation’s first maternal health marketing agency, and a doula with a Master of Public Health. For over fifteen years, she has led global communications for Mercy Corps, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and the United Nations, building award-winning campaigns and advancing maternal health reform.

“As a visionary leader, I am redefining maternal care for a generation. A mother’s culture is not a barrier to overcome. It is the blueprint for how she should be cared for.”
