Esther Bonyonga

Focus Areas

Esther Bonyonga is the Founder and Executive Director of Ladies in Tertiary Education (LAITE), a youth-led organization empowering young women in higher education through mentorship, leadership training, and advocacy for gender equality and inclusion. LAITE creates safe spaces for young women to thrive and lead in their communities.

Bonyonga serves as the Chairperson of the Young Feminist Movement in Malawi and the Southern Africa Regional Coordinator for Young Women of Africa. She is also the District Rotaract Representative for District 9210, covering Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Northern Mozambique.
