Esohe Ekunwe is the Director of Strategy and Operations at Tech Herfrica, a social impact organization committed to providing digital access to rural African women and girls. Through her leadership, vision, and tireless efforts, Ekunwe has spearheaded Tech Herfrica’s award-winning EquipHer4Growth initiative. This comprehensive innovation aims to break the cycle of poverty among rural women by delivering holistic digital and financial inclusion solutions.

Under Ekunwe’s direction, the program has transformed the lives of over 4,000 women and girls across two African nations and was honored with the 2023 ITU Sustainable Development Goals Digital Game Changers Award in the People Category.

Beyond her impactful work at Tech Herfrica, Ekunwe has trained over 5,000 African youths in digital skills, mentors young women entering the tech industry, and has successfully helped over 100 Africans transition into the technology sector.
