Eme Bassey is the Co-Founder of CAFET, where she spearheads the mission of helping African fashion suppliers expand globally by enabling them to create and deliver globally competitive products. Through strategic partnerships in infrastructure, education, trade, and technology, Bassey is dedicated to enhancing the global competitiveness of the African fashion value chain.
Bassey holds a B.Sc. in Economics and a Tech MBA from Cornell Tech, Cornell University. She is a Yunus and Youth Global Social Entrepreneurship Fellow and Forte Fellow. She also champions female empowerment in her hometown, Calabar, through her community project, UFDI, which equips local tailors with the digital tools and skills they need for business growth.
