Elnura Kassymova

Elnura Kassymova is the CEO of the Eurasian School of Business and Entrepreneurship and the President of the Educational Technologies and Initiatives Fund. The Education Technologies and Initiatives Fund creates educational programs and ecosystems, including mentoring programs, courses, training, events, and business incubators for youth, girls, women, entrepreneurs, heads of NGOs, and vulnerable groups including large and low-income families. The Fund’s activities are based on the following UN Sustainable Development Goals: 4, Quality Education; 5, Gender Equality; 8, Decent Work and Economic Growth; 9, Industry Innovation and Infrastructure; and 17, Partnerships for the Goals. The main strategic objectives of the Fund are to reduce gender inequality and eliminate inequality in education for girls and women in Central Asia by engaging women’s sectoral, industry, and thematic communities, and holding regional educational programs. At the moment, the Fund, in cooperation with the Eurasian School of Business and Entrepreneurs, is developing a Mentor Spark social educational online platform for women professionals and entrepreneurs, which includes educational media content, mentoring, online university, and thematic and industry communities of Central Asia. In 2023, they are planning to launch the Mentor Spark Women in Business online community on the Mentor Spark platform, together with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). Elnura has 15 years of experience in the development and organization of educational programs and has been an international consultant for EBRD for seven years, launching mentoring programs for women entrepreneurs in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Mongolia. Since 2017, she has served as the developer, methodologist, and operator of the EBRD program “Mentoring for Women Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan”, which cooperates closely with women’s organizations in Central Asia.
