Advisor, Cabinet of the Mayor of Madrid
Elisa Vigil is a lawyer specialized in commercial and women’s law. She is currently an advisor in the Cabinet of the Mayor of Madrid. She began her career as a consultant at the age of 22 in the Social Services Cabinet of the Madrid City Council in the Popular Party Group. Furthermore, she is a political activist who presides over the New Generations of the Popular Party in a District of Madrid.
Elisa’s political vocation comes from a young age, believing that through politics the world around us can be changed. She is co-founder of the Libyan Women NGO, through which they promote training courses, empowerment, business, psychological support, creation of the pioneering project of a Shelter for battered women and victims of war, as well as programs of self-employment with microcredits. They have more than 4,500 affiliates in Libya and want to continue working to reach more women and young people so they can achieve their dreams.
