Co-Founder & CEO of EduFund
Eela Dubey, Co-Founder and CEO of EduFund, brings a powerful combination of academic excellence and a deep commitment to social impact to her leadership role. Graduating with cum laude honors from New York University, Eela’s academic journey ignited her passion for sustainable development. Early exposure to the impactful work of multilateral organizations like the UN, fostered through NGO work, further solidified this interest. Her professional path initially led her to Wall Street’s Quest Partners, where she honed her expertise in global finance. However, a yearning to drive tangible social change drew her back to India, where she joined US Freedom Capital in Mumbai. It was at US Freedom Capital that Eela, alongside her future co-founder Arindam Sengupta, identified a critical gap – the lack of accessible education financing options for Indian families. This pivotal realization sparked their shared vision for EduFund: a platform designed to bridge this gap and empower families through innovative financial solutions. Since founding EduFund, Eela’s unwavering focus has been on building and scaling the platform to revolutionize education financing in India, which has helped over 100,000 families. Eela’s bold ambition is to positively impact over 1 crore families and help create equitable access to education throughout India.
