Dr Khadijah Bwanakheri Mohammed’s mission is to empower individuals of all ages, particularly adolescents, by providing access to comprehensive information and resources to make informed decisions about their reproductive health, mental health and vocational matters while eradicating stigma and fostering a supportive community.
With over 7 years of diverse experience in medical practice, leadership, and community advocacy, Mohammed has honed her expertise in adolescent sexual and reproductive health, clinical care, and project management. She founded and led initiatives that have significantly impacted the lives of over 10,000 young people by enhancing access to education and healthcare services, reducing teenage pregnancy, and addressing period poverty. Her work includes securing vital partnerships, such as with WHO’s PMNCH, and serving as a National Mobilizer for the “1.8 Billion Campaign,” which positioned her as a key advocate for youth health in Tanzania
