Dr. Jadhav Hemlata

Dr. Jadhav Hemlata is a visionary educationalist, currently serving as the Director of the Institute of Integrated Skill Development and Employment Training (IISDET). Under her leadership, IISDET has become a leading institution dedicated to bridging the gap between education and employability through skill-based learning. The institution offers a wide array of programs in healthcare, hospitality, construction, paramedical, beauty, and fashion designing, with a strong emphasis on practical, on-the-job training. Dr. Hemlata has revolutionized the skill education system by introducing the DST (Dual System Training) module and the Learn and Earn scheme, which combine 30% theoretical education with 70% practical training. These initiatives have not only enhanced the employability of students but have also contributed to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by promoting quality education, decent work, and economic growth. A member of the Paramedical Council of the Maharashtra Government and the Board of Studies, Dr. Hemlata has also played a crucial role as an examiner and moderator for the Maharashtra State Board of Skill Vocational Education and Training (MSBSVET). Her efforts have significantly impacted the education system, particularly in enhancing vocational training standards. Driven by a passion for empowering youth through quality education and skills development, Dr. Hemlata holds a BAMS (Bachelor in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) and a B.Ed (Bachelor in Education), which form the foundation of her expertise in educational management and innovation.
