Doreen Manda is a visionary leader, as shown through her work as being the Co-Founder and Country Coordinator of Ulubuto Gender Equity (UGE), an organization dedicated to promoting gender equality and climate justice. UGE empowers communities through education, advocacy, and collaboration, fostering an inclusive society where everyone enjoys equal opportunities.

As UGE’s Country Coordinator, Manda leverages her extensive experience to drive impactful initiatives. Previously, she was the Deputy Chief of Party for a USAID-funded project on gender-based violence prevention in Zambia, leading a five-year anti-GBV program.

Manda’s career includes roles at DFID (now FCDO), in Zambia and Zimbabwe. She managed programs in health, gender, social protection, education, WASH, governance, climate change, and agriculture, demonstrating her ability to navigate complex challenges and deliver sustainable development outcomes.
