Doosughun Takur

Doosughun Takur is the Director of Programmmes at Clean Technology Hub, a pioneering hybrid hub for the research, development, demonstration, and incubation of clean and green ideas and technologies in Africa and their validation for commercial-stage development. She is a credentialed Economist and Capacity Building Expert as well as a Climate Change Activist. Her 14-year career spans experience in finance and banking where she specialized in customer relationship management and organizational development. She is a Management Consultant and has earned certifications in Public Sector Reform Methodologies from the Harvard Center for International Development.

Takur is a strong advocate for climate change, especially how it affects women. She heads a team of young energy professionals who are innovating ways to introduce cooking to women in rural areas. She is also a Certified Cherie Blair Foundation for Women Mentor Alumnus and a certified Mentor of Women in Africa (WIA).
