Divine Ela is a young woman’s right activist and positive changemaker in her community, with a passion for education and youth development. She is one of the young champions of UN Volunteers with UNICEF DRC, working to address issues of social change in their community. She fights against inequality and discrimination; she works with youth organizations to promote peace and security in their communities. Furthermore, Ela also enjoys empowering women and girls. She plans, trains, and accompanies girls in education; she is versatile and proposes quality solutions; she innovates by organizing activities on youth capacity building.

Ela is a program coordinator and women’s rights advocate with 5+ years of experience in community development, project management, and gender-focused programming. She has a proven track record working with NGOs and is skilled in strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and grassroots empowerment. Moreover, Ela is fluent in English and French, with advanced knowledge of SRHR advocacy and peace and governance frameworks.
