Dina Awni Al Bashir has been elected as a representative for the House of Representatives in Jordan since 2020. Prior to her election as representative, Dina was attorney at law in one of the most prestigious law firms in Jordan (International Business Legal Associates – IBLAW), and has worked on numerous issues including the legal framework of the Jordanian legal system.
Dina is considered to be one of the youngest MPs in the current parliament, and the youngest female that have been elected as an assistance of the speaker of the house. She is member in the legal committee in the parliament, and is an activist in regards to women’s equality and rights, also rule of law and justice. Dina has a law degree from the University of Jordan and Masters from Kings College London.
