Focus Areas

Devangana Rana is the founder of JeevikaRise, an initiative focused on economic inclusion and women’s empowerment in Northern India. The initiative supports migrant street vendors and rural entrepreneurs by providing early-stage capital, legal support, and business mentorship.

Devangana graduated from Harvard College in May 2025 with an A.B degree in Economics and Government. She is currently an Analyst in the Market Solutions and Structured Finance team at the World Bank Treasury. She has gained experience across finance, public policy, and entrepreneurship through previous roles at the Central Bank of Thailand, Antler VC Fund, Indian Ministry of Rural Development, and Harvard Business School.
