Denise Bermudez

Denise Bermudez is the Founder and Director of AsesoriasDBJ, a boutique advisory firm that provides business concierge services. Denise’s goal is to help her clients grow under a secure path of legal and fiscal compliance through personalized services. Denise believes that an empathetic approach offers a reliable space for conscious business owners and entrepreneurs to tell their secrets, without feeling judgement. According to client’s needs, AsesoriasDBJ creates a service plan with the tools that unleash their clients’ full potential. Aware of the power of storytelling, AsesoriasDBJ also includes the services of sensitive writing, offering clients a place for putting their thoughts into words. Denise is an advocate for creating awareness of how a tax culture with a people-focused perspective will lead to a positive impact on society. Denise holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and Public Accounting from the Universidad de Costa Rica, she is also certified as a Franchise Specialist from Tecnológico de Monterrey, and as a Tax Specialist from the Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica. Denise’s experience includes working as a Tax & Accounting Coordinator at Millicom Cable, Finance Manager at QSR, as Central America Treasury Planning Analyst at Philip Morris International, and different accounting positions in Dole Fresh Fruit Intl. Beyond AsesoriasDBJ, Denise also serves as a volunteer in her community, including as an Alternate Treasurer for the Political Party Liberal Progresista, a Mentor at Vital Voices Costa Rica and a member of the Leadership Team at Professional Women’s Network of Costa Rica (PWNCR). Denise is a full-time wife, mom, daughter, sister, and friend always seeking to improve her skills. She is a certified shiatsu practitioner and a post-partum Doula that enjoys spending time baking, doing cross-stitching, or in the company of a book.
