Denise Abulafia launched one of Latin America’s most effective online education platforms – Educatina. When she saw that the dropout rate in her region was between 40 to 50%, Denise decided to find a way to get kids excited about learning. A former scientist and professor, she built an interactive platform that offers 24/7 tutoring in Spanish and Portuguese – for free.

Today more than 3 million students are logging on each month. Kids get to learn at their own pace with tutors from around the world. Denise believes every child deserves to be inspired and excited by the learning process and says its her mission to democratize access to world-class education.
