Daniela Terracciano co-founded ElicaDEA, a startup developing ultrasensitive biosensor-based diagnostics, and Robosan, a medtech startup leveraging robotics and AI for advanced healthcare solutions. Both initiatives aim to translate cutting-edge science into accessible tools for cancer prevention and precision healthcare, bridging research, technology, and social impact.
Terracciano is an Associate Professor of Clinical Pathology at the University of Naples Federico II, where she leads the Laboratory Oncology Diagnostics Unit. Her research focuses on tumor and neurological biomarkers, liquid biopsy, and the application of AI in laboratory medicine. Beyond academia, Terracciano contributes to European technology transfer initiatives and serves on international editorial boards and scientific committees, fostering innovation and excellence in laboratory medicine.
