Daniela is a Senior Legal Advisor to the Minister of Women and Vulnerable Populations. In this role, she coordinates the National Emergency Commission on Violence Against Women, worked on the National Gender Equality Policy, and has co-authored and advocated for 10 legislative decrees on gender equality and human rights of vulnerable persons. She was previously the Senior Legal Advisor to the Vice-Minister of Justice.
Daniela has a Law Degree from the Universidad Nacional de Trujillo and has taken courses at Universidad Complutense de Madrid, the University of Granada in Spain, and the Inter-American Human Rights Institute in Costa Rica. She was a Teaching Assistant at the Catholic University of Peru (PUCP) Law School in 2013.
She was selected as a Fellow for the 2019-2020 VV Engage Cohort.
