Cristina Marie Filloy Chin

Cristina is a Panamanian woman with a Law and Political Science degree from the Santa María La Antigua Catholic University. She is passionate about human rights, inclusion and community service. Cristina believes firmly in the importance of women’s empowerment and education. To this end, she created the Nan Gana Program, which works to educate mothers in vulnerable situations in soft skills, study methodologies and technology, so that they can be mentors in their children’s learning process and acquire important skills for their own lives. Cristina has participated in several training courses in design and project, has led workshops geared towards minors deprived of their liberty and vulnerable adolescents, and has mentored many youths on their projects.
