Courtney Adams is the co-founder and director of Girls Gearing Up International Leadership Academy, a Berlin-based non-profit organization dedicated to preparing the next generation of globally-minded female leaders. The program offers annual International Leadership Academies, a 12-month mentoring program, and year-round workshops that equip teen girls from diverse backgrounds all over the world with the confidence, skills, networks, and inspiration they need to not only unlock their potential but to create a positive impact on the world around them.
Before founding GGU, Adams co-founded and directed The Youthbridge Initiative, an award-winning non-profit organization focused on peacebuilding and civil engagement for youth in post-conflict areas. She also looks back on more than 15 years of experience in international European companies.
