Claudia Reto Carreño

Focus Areas

Claudia Reto is the Co-Founder of Growing Together, a non-profit organization that promotes livelihood opportunities for youth in Peru through educational programs and a gender approach. She believes that education is a powerful tool for improving the living conditions of youth and reducing inequality gaps in Peru.

Claudia has ten years of experience managing migration, education, and communication programs. She is a Program Manager for the Pan American Development Foundation (PADF) and a fellow of the Young Leaders of the American Initiative (YLAI) Program 2023. In 2020 she was awarded a scholarship by the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for an internship in Germany on migration in Latin America. She has a Communications degree from the University of Piura and a Master’s degree in management of educational institutions from the Pontifical and Civil Theology Faculty of Lima.
