Chitranshi Baranwal

Chitranshi Baranwal is the Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer of Vatsalya Wellness, a health tech startup focused on sustainable menstrual health through innovative products like Genie Pads. In her role, she oversees technology and product development, ensuring solutions meet the highest standards of sustainability and effectiveness. As a social entrepreneur, she has been pivotal in managing marketing strategies and customer engagement, with a strong emphasis on raising awareness about sustainable menstruation. She spearheaded the development of Genie Pads, a revolutionary product line utilizing Vatsalya’s patented BioSynQ technology, featuring biodegradable sanitary products that help maintain vaginal pH balance and reduce the risk of diseases, infections, rashes, and itchiness during menstruation. Under her leadership, Vatsalya Wellness has reached and educated nearly 300,000 tribal, rural, and underprivileged women in India, advocating for sustainable menstruation and overall health, while contributing to environmental conservation. This work aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goals 6 and 13. Driven by a deep commitment to women’s health and environmental sustainability, Chitranshi is passionate about creating innovative solutions that empower women and promote well-being. Chitranshi has been honored with the International Woman Entrepreneur Award 2024 by Great Companies and recognized as a Changemaker by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. With more than 5 years of experience, she holds a degree in Microbiology, has authored three widely accepted textbooks by nursing students, and has enhanced her business acumen with courses from the Wharton School of Business.
