Chiamaka Osueke is the Founder and CEO of JullyConsult, a waste circularity, education and fashion-tech social enterprise transforming textile and plastic waste into sustainable fashion, reusable-pads, lifestyle products and culturally inspired artworks. She leads the organization’s strategic vision, partnerships, innovation and impact initiatives, driving the adoption of AI-powered zero-waste design technologies that reduce fabric waste, promote circular production and celebrate African cultural heritage through fashion. Under Chiamaka’s leadership, JullyConsult has developed an innovative model that combines climate-action, circular economy solutions, non-formal education and entrepreneurship development. Through its Fashion-Hub, the enterprise has trained and empowered more than 15,000 women, youth, individuals with disabilities, internally displaced individuals and out-of-school children with skills in sustainable fashion, recycling, creativity and enterprise development. By transforming waste into economic opportunities, JullyConsult addresses environmental pollution, flooding threats, unemployment, poverty and social exclusion while advancing a more sustainable and inclusive future. The impact of Chiamaka’s work contributes to several UN SDGs, including SDG 1 (No Poverty), SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 5 (Gender Equality), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities), SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) and SDG 13 (Climate Action). Chiamaka holds a Master’s degree in International Development and Creative Designs. She is a Rotary Peace Fellow and has expertise in climate leadership, development and social impact. Through her work, she continues to demonstrate how women-led innovation can transform waste into opportunity, preserve cultural heritage and create lasting environmental and social change.
