Founder/CEO, Crafts With Meaning

Caroline Ng’ang’a Omondi is an award-winning social entrepreneur with a strong interest in the economic empowerment of underserved communities, especially women. She is the founder of Crafts with Meaning, a social enterprise that creates opportunities for underserved artisans in Kenya and Uganda. She has previously served as a director of a state agency in Kenya and is currently a board member of Eco Tourism Kenya, a membership organization dedicated to sustainable tourism.
Caroline is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya, holds a master’s degree in business administration from the United States International University-Africa and a bachelor’s degree in statistics from the University of Nairobi.
Caroline was named one of the Top 40 Under 40 women in Kenya in 2018 and is a recipient of the Archbishop Desmond Tutu Leadership Fellowship from the Africa Leadership Institute and the University of Oxford.
