Camila Rivero López
Voices That Inspire
Camila is from Argentina and is currently pursuing a degree in Social Work at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. At 23 years old, she has a track record of working with people in vulnerable situations in social and community-based organizations as well as in public institutions. Her passion for knowledge and social issues led her to write a piece for Debate Público (Public Debate) magazine in 2021 titled “La práctica pre-profesional en contexto pandemia” (Pre-professional practice in the context of the pandemic).
Camila is currently the Executive Coordinator of Preservate, where she promotes access to comprehensive sexuality education for all ages. Her work contributes to a variety of approaches, including intervention. She also conducts research on state-sanctioned, social policy and crime control interventions as they have been aimed at youth between 2019 and 2023. This work is part of the Undergraduate Research Program at the University of Buenos Aires.
