Brenda Okorogba is the Founder of Momentswithbren Consulting, a capacity-strengthening and learning design firm that supports organizations and individuals in transforming systems, unlocking opportunities, and accelerating social impact. Through strategic advisory services, training programs, and inclusive resource mobilization approaches, the firm bridges equity gaps across sectors. It partners with nonprofits, institutions, and changemakers to design inclusive programs and secure sustainable resources.
Okorogba is an award-winning Learning Experience Designer, Resource Mobilization Advisor, and Facilitator with over a decade of experience leading cross-sector initiatives across Africa and Canada. Her work advances gender equity, economic inclusion, and youth empowerment. She has mobilized over $40 million in funding, supported feminist movements, built global partnerships, and currently serves as a board director with organizations such as Results Canada, Students Commission of Canada, and Immigrant Women Services Ottawa.
In addition, Okorogba has sourced and matched students, early-career researchers, smallholder women farmers, entrepreneurs, and nonprofits with over $5 billion in funding, including scholarships, fellowships, grants, R&D tax credits, subsidies, loans, and innovation capital. These investments have enabled access to higher education, employment opportunities, research, and entrepreneurship without financial barriers—fueling innovation and unlocking long-term economic mobility for underserved and underrepresented talent globally.
