Founder/Executive Director, Mauna Dhwani Foundation
Bindu Vinodhan is the founder of the Mauna Dhwani Foundation. The mission of the foundation is to enable women from the tribal villages of Odisha, India, to emerge from silence- ‘mauna’ to the reverberating awakened voices of ‘dhwani’, through dignified sustainable livelihoods by reviving indigenous craft fostered in a community ecosystem of camaraderie, courage, and care.
Bindu worked in the corporate sector for 22 years where she led HR, organizational effectiveness, and DEI teams at organizations such as Vodafone, Hewlett Packard, Bank of America, and WNS.
Bindu is also the founder of a leadership transformation consulting firm called TILLT where she works extensively with senior leadership teams to facilitate powerful interventions that allow individuals, leaders, and businesses to grow to their highest potential. Her core areas of consultation are leadership visioning, business storytelling, and women’s leadership transformation.
Bindu holds a master’s degree in learning technology from Oxford University. She is also certified in business storytelling and presence from Cranfield University and in negotiation from Harvard University. Bindu currently sits on the board of Sigachi Industries (a listed global pharma company) as an independent director and is also on the advisory council of a social enterprise.
